I am an experienced Health professional with expertise in Government relations, and strategic communications for health development. In November 2019, I was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Health.
My appointment involves the provision of strategic assistance on Health innovations and Healthcare delivery to the Lagos State Governor. Since assumption of office in 2019, I have facilitated several community-based tours to assess health needs in Lagos Special Populations (Slums, Riverine communities, and hard-to-reach areas) while taking a critical look at the innovative solutions and resources to execute them in serving these populations.
In 2020, with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria, with Lagos as the epicentre; I was appointed to lead the risk communication pillar of the Covid-19 response team for the Lagos State Government.
Over the past year, I have contributed my expertise in promoting proactive information dissemination on health to the Lagos State populace by acting as the CO between the Government and volunteers in content development, social mobilisation, and social and mass media engagement respectively.
In my years of experience as a healthcare personnel who is interested in policies, I have seen the overarching need for collaborations, partnerships, inclusion of all members of value chain for health and community engagement as the pivot to sustainable healthcare delivery.

Olawunmi Esan.dip.psysextherapy (OG920) is a trained psychotherapist and Certified Sex Therapist who helps couples and individuals discover and enjoy Sexual Satisfaction and Fulfilment.
Her training includes a background in Psychology, a certification in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and certifications in Psychosexual Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy.
She is a member of the African Network of Professional Counselors and the lead therapist at Thriving Family International, an organization focused on providing counselling and therapy for personal and family-life related areas.

Dr. Oluseun Peter Ogunnubi

Dr. Oluseun Peter Ogunnubi is a senior lecturer at the
Department of Psychiatry, University of Lagos.
He is also the CEO of Grace Cottage Clinics Ltd a private mental health facility located Ilupeju Lagos www.gracecottagehospital.org.ng. He holds a medical degree in Medicine & Surgery from Olabisi Onabanjo University , Ogun State a s well as a Postgraduate Medical Specialization/Fellowship in Psychiatry.
He also holds a certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from
University of Washington , USA and a Master‘s degree in Public Health at the Central University of NICARAGUA (UCN).
Dr. Ogunnubi is a World Health Organization (WHO) certified Mental Health Advocate. He i s deeply committed to humanitarian works . These he does mostly through the Real Visionaries Initiative a not for profit organization h e founded in 2011.
Dr. Veronica Ayo-Vaughan Iwayemi

Dr. Veronica Ayo-Vaughan Iwayemi is a provider within a system of care. A seasoned Medical and Public Health Practitioner she has over 20 years’ experience in the management and delivery of Public Health services. With a unique flare for advocacy on gender related demographic issues, she works largely to provide patients and communities with qualitative, affordable, accessible and acceptable health care.
In her capacity as the Assistant Director for Family Health/ Program Manager for Sexual and Reproductive Health at the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board; and as a member of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT), Dr. Iwayemi’s emphasis are on population-based, evidence-based, patient-oriented and human-centered care with a change mindset.
She is a foreign-medical graduate of Donetsk State Medical University, Ukraine, an alumni student of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), member of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Alumni Association of Nigeria (JAAN) and a financial member of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN) Lagos Chapter. She started her Public Health Advocacy career as a medical student and the Treasurer of the Nigerian Students Union in the CIS.
Fluent in 3 languages (Yoruba, English and Russian), she is a communications strategist specializing in targeted community relations, health and wellness advocacy, demand generation and accessibility to qualitative Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health services at the Primary Health Care level for the benefit of the underserved in the community.
Well-travelled over 4 Continents, and with international experience in the promotion of health, wellness, client – provider relationships, medical missions and community relations, she has proved herself as an effective, dedicated medical practitioner, mentor and good communicator.
She has facilitated and coordinated Maternal and Child, Sexual and Reproductive, Health and Wellness Related programs for numerous State, National and International organizations as well as governmental agencies. These include, but not limited to, the Nigerian Medical Association Lagos State Chapter (NMA Lagos), The Medical Guild, Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (JHCCP) / Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI), Action Health Incorporated (AHI), Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Marie Stopes International (MSION), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), USAIDS, African Youth and Governance (AYGC), African Missions North America (AMNA), Agents of Hope, Office of the Lagos State Special Adviser on Public Health and Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (PHCB).
During the Ebola Alert Campaign of 2014, she played a major role in the development, implementation and sustainability of the 0800-EBOLA-HELP toll free line as the Call Center Coordinator. She also provided Inter-border support services to the Ebola Alert Public Relations Campaigns, designing IEC materials and banners for Lagos State border communities, in Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and Egun languages.
Her dedication to public service was rewarded in 2016 by Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP)/Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative 2 (NURHI 2) with an Award of Recognition in appreciation of her dedication and contribution to Family Planning services in Lagos State. In 2017, she received the Lagos State Government’s Outstanding Officer Award for the Primary Health Care Board, and the Medical Guild’s Outstanding Service Award for her tenacity as Publicity Secretary from 2015-2017, when she facilitated the creation and sustainability of the Medical Guild website to create awareness for, and secure attention to, issues of doctors’ welfare.
Fondly known as ‘Doctor Oloyinbo’ by her patients, colleagues and within the community where she resides and volunteers, Dr. Ayo-Vaughan Iwayemi in her spare time is a voice-over enthusiast, a communication strategist, young women and youth mentor, vocational writer and the founder of RAVE Productions, a media start up.
Her personal motto is “Making a difference – One life, One family, One community at a time” and her inspiration comes from great women who have done such, like the Late Maya Angelou and Ms. Oprah Winfrey. She is a firm believer that every child, every youth, every adult has a right to make informed decisions and decide who they want to be and be themselves.

She was pioneer Director of the MTN Nigeria Foundation. During her
tenure as HR Executive of MTN, she led a strategic transformation in
the HR Function to improve business performance with the company
becoming the 1st company in Nigeria to be accredited with the
Investors in People Gold Standard in May 2015 and winning several
other awards. She was nominated as HR person of the year in 2015
by People Magazine and presented with a Life-time Achievement
award in 2019. She was also presented with an ALTON Award in 2019
for her significant contribution to the growth of the

Nkiru Olumide-Ojo holds over 2 decades of experience as a Senior Corporate Executive looking after the reputation of multinational and national brands in Africa. Her work experience spans across various sectors including Financial Services, Aviation, Telecommunication and the Oil and Gas sectors.
She currently works in a financial services Group in South Africa and her work scope covers several African Countries.
Founder of the LightHouse Network, a social impact agency founded in 2014 and focused on marketplace readiness for Youths, Nkiru and her team go to underserved schools to help upskill youths on and in 2020 alone, impacted over 2000 youths in this regard. She also provides structured mentorship for young Working Girls through a network.
A frequent Conference Speaker, Forbes Africa women’s summit, the London Advertising Week , Africa Public Relations Conference, and Standard Bank’s Blue Heels women’s programme, Google’s International Women’s Day Celebration, are some of the conferences where she has spoken at.

Currently, a PhD student at the Witswaterands University South Africa, Nkiru holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing Management from the Kingston University Surrey, London, alongside a post graduate diploma in management/first degree in biological sciences, and many professional training(s).
